Beau Bridges / Hank Landry

Biographie :

Beau Bridges est né sous le nom de Lloyd Vernet Bridges III, le 9 décembre 1941. Ses parents, Lloyd et Dorothy lui attribuèrent rapidement le surnom « Beau » en l’honneur d’un personnage d’un roman qu’ils lisaient à l’époque, « Gone With The Wind ». Il fût suivi quelques temps plus tard par son frère Jeff et sa sœur Cindy, qui complétèrent la famille.

Comme des milliers de garçons en Amérique, Beau fût membre des scouts. L’un des meilleurs gestes que posa Beau fût un geste qu’il aurait probablement fait même s’il n’aurait pas fait partit des scouts : il réalisa que le travail de son père laissait un vide dans la vie de son frère Jeff et il décida de passer plus de temps avec son frère pour combler ce manque. Encore aujourd’hui, Beau et son frère sont toujours très proches.

Beau fût marié deux fois et est le père de cinq enfants, deux avec sa première femme, Julie, et 3 avec sa femme actuelle, Wendy. De tous ses enfants, il semble que ce soit Jordan qui suit le plus les traces de son père, ayant apparu dans une douzaine de films et séries télévisées. Mais Beau a transmis plusieurs autres traditions familiales en plus du côté show-business. Pendant toute sa vie, il s’est dévoué pour sa famille. Lorsqu’il était un jeune garçon, Beau aimait les sports et appris à son frère comment jouer au baseball. Tout comme son père, Beau entraîna l’équipe de jeunes joueurs de baseball font faisait partit ses enfants. Son père Lloyd avait donné des rôles à ses enfants dans ses séries télévisées et Beau fait la même chose avec ses enfants.

Même si Beau a joué dans des centaines de films et des douzaines de séries télévisées, il ne se cantonne pas à son rôle d’acteur. Il est également un directeur et producteur talentueux. Dans la série de films « Defenders », il débuta en tant que producteur avant de devenir co-producteur exécutif et finalement producteur exécutif. Il travaille très dur et maîtrise désormais parfaitement plusieurs aspects de son métier.

Amateur de musique, Beau est souvent décrit comme un homme honnête, loyal, humble et ayant un bon esprit de compétition. Même s’il est un membre important de l’industrie du divertissement, Beau reste une présence important au sein de sa famille. Il semblerait difficile d’équilibrer correctement le travail et la famille, mais Beau semble avoir réussit ce défi.

Hank Landry

Biographie :

Landry est général de l'US Air Force. Ami de Jack O'Neill, il fut nommé chef du SGC en 2005. Il charge Cameron Mitchell de reconstituer SG1.

Père du docteur Carolyn Lam, commandante de l'infirmerie de la base de Cheyenne Mountain.

On en apprend un peu plus sur lui lors de l'épisode 5 de la saison 10 " Uninvited" : il a fait la guerre du Vietnam et s'est retrouvé pendant 8 jours à échapper aux militaires nord-vietnamiens, blessé.
